EdgeAudit runs academic-grade backtests on your trading strategies — Bonferroni-corrected significance, bootstrap CIs, walk-forward validation. The discipline most retail tools skip.
Stocks, ETFs, crypto. Plain-English strategies. Honest results.
No "guaranteed signals". No hype. Just statistics.
A pretty equity curve doesn't mean a strategy works. EdgeAudit applies the three checks you'd find in academic finance — and most "backtest tools" don't.
Test 20 strategies and one will look great by pure luck. We adjust significance thresholds for the number of strategies you tested, so you don't fool yourself with multiple-comparison bias.
A 12% backtest return looks great until you see the 95% confidence interval is [-4%, 28%]. We resample your trades 10,000 times to show you the real range of plausible outcomes.
Strategies often work in-sample and die out-of-sample. We split your data chronologically into train / validation / holdout to expose strategies that only work because they were tuned on the data.
Type your strategy as you'd describe it. EdgeAudit handles the rest.

No. We sell a tool that helps you honestly evaluate your own strategies. Anyone selling "guaranteed signals" is either scamming you or hasn't tested their own claims. EdgeAudit exists because most retail backtests are misleading.
Most retail backtesters report a single point estimate of returns. They rarely apply Bonferroni correction when you've tested 20 strategies, rarely report bootstrap CIs on returns, and rarely enforce walk-forward validation. EdgeAudit defaults to all three because they're the gates that catch overfitting.
Algorithmic trading communities already live in Discord. A bot that runs where you discuss strategies removes friction. Web app may follow if there's demand, but the Discord interface itself is the product for our first audience.
Equities and ETFs via Yahoo Finance data (SPY, QQQ, individual stocks, sector ETFs). Crypto via public exchange APIs (BTC, ETH, major pairs). Options, futures, and forex are roadmap items, not yet supported.
Yes. Billing is monthly via Stripe. You can cancel in the Stripe customer portal at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period — no partial refunds, but also no surprise renewals.
No. EdgeAudit is a backtest tool. It analyses historical performance of strategies; it does not connect to brokers or execute live trades. Anything you do with EdgeAudit's analysis in your own broker is your responsibility.
No. EdgeAudit makes overfitted backtests less likely to fool you, but no backtest predicts the future. Use the tool to reject bad strategies, not to certify good ones.
Free tier, no card needed. Run your first rigorous backtest in under a minute.
